Morse Code operator. Welcome to the international fellowship of amateur / HAM radio. Make many new friends worldwide using radio communication e.g. Morse Code. In 1832 Samuel Morse conceived the idea of an electromagnetic telegraph for transmission over a single wire. His operational code was later modified for radio use into the present day International Morse Code.

Koch method - In 1936 the German psychologist Ludwig Koch published his method of Morse Code training which is still recognised as the most superior. Similar to how a touch typist knows where the letters are on a keyboard the student learns one character at a time, at full speed and builds up a reflex right from the start. Concentrate on learning to receive before sending. The personal computer has enabled the Koch method to replace all others. More information via article by David Finley N1IRZ.
