Electric Guitar In-Tuition St Albans | Free guitar playing tips + tabs

You can't hold a gun and play guitar at the same time. So if everyone played guitar there would be World Peace. I can't promise you fame or riches but what I can offer you is a chance to save the world one song at a time.

At my home in St Albans I offer one to one guitar tuition. Free easy parking. Beginners to intermediate, children and adults. My fee is £20 per hour or £10 per ½ hour. Scholars requiring "taster" lessons are welcome to ¼ hour for £5 and use my guitar. Pay as you go. Cash or cheque payable to R W HOULSTON welcome.

I was educated at Francis Bacon Grammar School St Albans and have passed City & Guilds 7307 Teacher Training stage one. I attended the Dacorum Borough Council Child Protection Workshop and hold an all-clear enhanced certificate of disclosure as issued by the CRB - Criminal Records Bureau. Public liability insurance via my Musicians' Union membership.

If required, I can provide you with a guitar during lessons for no additional cost. This might be helpful if you arrange tuition for straight after work. My guitar lessons are tailored to the individual student and progress is at their own pace.

Whilst most of my activity is electric classic rock I also offer elementary: Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar & Ukulele lessons.
